The city, Houston, will be premiering the film, HOUSTON, next weekend at the MFAH. The film has already won multiple awards at various film festivals. Directed by Bastian Gunther, HOUSTON is about a German corporate headhunter who travels to Texas in pursuit of an oil company CEO. Unfortunately he takes a personal, partially whiskey induced downward spiral.
The film stars Garret Dillahunt (from No Country for Old Men, Looper and the TV show Raising Hope in which he plays Burt Chance).
If you attend the Fri. night showing at the museum director Bastian Gunther will be present, answer questions and guests are invited to stay for a reception.
