Right now you can grab an early bird for only $99 which will get you into all of the amazing films that will be playing at this year’s Houston Cinema Arts Festival.

This year’s festival will open with the film, Waves by Trey Edward Shults. Starring: Sterling K. Brown, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Kevin Harrison Jr., and Lucas Hedges, Waves traces the epic emotional journey of a suburban African-American family—led by a well-intentioned but domineering father—as they navigate love, forgiveness and coming together in the aftermath of a loss. It will be presented at the MFAH on November 14 @ 7:30 pm.
One of the highlights of the festival every year is the corporation with NASA in presenting the CineArts Festival. Filmmakers from all over the world are given access to NASA footage and have permission to use to create original films. The best are curated into a collection at the festival. One winner, chosen by filmmaker Richard Linklater will be given a $10,000 prize. These will be shown at the Rice Media Center on November 16th. The tickets are $12.00.
