Our next Museum Family Day will be held at the Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library on Saturday, May 19. This month is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month at the Harris County Public Libraries, and we’ll be celebrating with a “Kolorful Koi” art sculpture project. Stop by and see us between 11am-3pm!

MFAH shop

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston – The MFA Shop opens the doors to the loading dock for a special sale! You’ll discover regular merchandise at new prices, other items at temporary prices, and unbelievable last-chance finds. Stock up on heavily discounted books and gifts that have not been available recently, and much more. Access the loading-dock entrance through the MFA Shop.

This sale doesn’t happen very often! Come by early—and circle back frequently—to take advantage of these limited-time deals.

No need to pay Museum admission—it’s always free to visit the MFA Shop. Sorry, but sale items cannot be put on hold, and no additional discounts apply. All sales are final for discounted merchandise.

Artist Lisa Chow is once again hosting her lovely and inspiration Girl Crush Market. It features an all-female cast of artists, maker, and entrepreneurs. This market will also have a popup flower shop! You can buy unique and high-quality items such as clothing to perfume and fine art. There is a DIY station where you can make your own project and a photo wall to take some pics and share with friends. Event is free, kid friendly and open to all.

Donations of diapers, tampons and pads are greatly appreciated. Donations will be gifted to the Houston Area Women’s Center.

 The Girl Crush Project supports…

  • Collaborations with likeminded female artists and makers to create one-of-a-kind items which then give back to women and children nonprofits.
  • Hard to find products from amazing female entrepreneurs; all of which give back to nonprofits.
  • Events and workshops to celebrate women, to foster connections and to provide opportunities for female creatives.
