Anna does not want to go to sleep. She tries to read to help her body to want to shut down for awhile but instead becomes so engaged in her book that she keeps up her stuffed pals: Zigzag, Fuzzball, Pingpong, Foxface, Whaley and Grizzler. They try to encourage her to sleep and when she finally does, the tables are turned.
The author, Dominique Roques originally wrote this book in French and it has been illustrated by her son Alexis Dormal. The illustrations are adorable and expressive. The language simple and direct. It is a cute book, a good tool for parents with young children who have trouble falling asleep.
